We live in Jacobs Well, a rural village about half way between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Jacobs Well is situated at the lower end of Morton Bay and is popular with recreational fishermen who use the convenient boat ramp adjacent to the Volunteer Marine Rescue (Coast Guard) building.
The surrounding area is mainly used for sugarcane farming, with a processing plant and some ancillary services.
